What are "Green" Buildings?

Liberty's commitment to sustainability is an extension of our long-standing mission to enhance people's lives through extraordinary work environments. For us, high performance green buildings are state-of-the-art properties where plentiful daylight and improved air quality increase employee health and productivity and where operating expenses are reduced by decreased energy consumption. Some of the many "green" methods we employ include recycling construction waste, using non-toxic, recycled building materials, selecting locally -produced materials to minimize shipping emissions, using native plants in landscaping, maximizing the use of natural light, strategically reusing "grey" water and incorporating state-of-the-art energy systems. In short, high-performance green buildings positively impact the environment and a tenant's bottomline, and don't have to cost more.

“Liberty is the poster child for commercial green development.”
